International parcels may be delayed while they are being reviewed or processed by customs authorities in the destination country.
Customs delays can happen for a variety of reasons, including inspections, verification of shipment details, payment of applicable duties or import fees, or high processing volumes. These steps are handled by customs and the courier and are outside of our control.
If your tracking shows that a parcel is awaiting customs clearance, the best next step is usually to allow additional time and monitor tracking updates. In some cases, the courier may contact the recipient directly if further information or payment is required.
Most customs delays resolve on their own once processing is complete.
