How long should I rest my coffee after roasting?

Many brewing parameters can be found on the individual coffee product page. If the brewing parameters are not yet available on the coffee product page, our team is still working on them and they should be available shortly.

We generally recommend resting coffee for 7-14 days after the roast date before brewing.

Coffee releases excess carbon dioxide post-roasting, which helps improve clarity, balance, and sweetness in the cup. That said, rest time isn’t a strict rule. Some coffees open up sooner, while others continue to improve well beyond two weeks. We encourage tasting along the way and adjusting based on what you enjoy most.
